Apparently Marvel, in their infinite wisdom, seems to think that two crappy Hulk films aren’t enough. They are now trying to bring the big green monster to TV.
Marvel and ABC are developing a TV return for comic icon the Incredible Hulk. CBS last produced a memorable series featuring the jade giant that ran from 1978-82 and starred Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno. The project is part of a push from Marvel to enter the TV realm, kicked off last summer with the launch of Marvel Television. Heroes exec producer Jeph Loeb is the head of the operation, and The Hulk was among two high priority projects they settled on.
Seriously, do we really need this? Won’t they realize this is going to be another failure for the Hulk franchise?
