TNT’s Memphis Beat has been picked up for another season. The series, staring Jason Lee, follows a Memphis detective who solves crime by day and sings the blues by night. I haven’t really been much of a fan of Lee’s since My Name is Earl, but he does a good job in this role. The first season was really solid in terms of writing and acting. The drama has also averaged around 4.5 million viewers each week in it’s first 10 episode season.
