ABC Picks Up No Ordinary Family, Better With You & Detroit 1-8-7

ABC has decided to order more episodes of three of their new shows. No Ordinary Family, a superhero family show, has been picked up for a full season by ABC. This is good news for me as I happen to like the show and am interested in seeing where it goes.

ABC has also given a full season order to the new comedy Better With You, staring JoAnna Garcia. I’ve never even heard of this show, but that’s no shocker as I only watch two shows on ABC; No Ordinary Family and Modern Family.

The new cop drama Detroit 1-8-7, starring Michael Imperioli, earned orders for additional episodes, although ABC didn’t confirm the exact number of episodes. I’ve not hear much about this show other than ratings were low and there was a risk of it being canceled. I’m guessing it either rebounded some or ABC doesn’t have anything ready to air in its place.

Meanwhile, Brothers and Sisters, which only had 18 episodes ordered for this season, just received an additional order of 4 episodes, bringing the total to 22 for its fifth season.
