Kristen Bell is heading back to TV in a pilot for Showtime starring Don Cheadle.
As we’ve previously reported, House of Lies is a subversive, scathing look at a self-loathing management consultant from a top-tier firm. Cheadle will star as Marty, a highly successful, cutthroat consultant who is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his clients the information they want.
So what is Bell’s role in the show? Bell will play Jeannie, a razor-sharp Brown grad who reluctantly finds herself attracted to her co-worker Marty.
Dawn Olivieri has also been cast in the show.
I’m looking forward to this show. Don Cheadle is one of the most underused and under-appreciated actors working today. I’m also a huge fan of Kristen Bell. I thought she was great in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Veronica Mars.
