Orlando Jones inked a deal to star in a new show from ABC entitled Identity.
The show revolves around “an elite police unit formed to combat the explosion of identity-related crime.” He will play a character named Agent Wareing.
The script was written by John Glenn, with Mark Gordon and Deb Spera executive producing. ABC Studios is behind the project.
Wentworth Miller, from Fox’s Jailbreak, has also been offered a part on the show.
Just what TV needs, more cop shows. Of course, I said the same thing about The Chicago Code but that turned out to be the best new show of the season. That being said, a show about identity theft? That is not sexy. Most identity theft is done via bad passwords, card scanners at places like ATMs and gas stations, and rooting through trash and mail. It is not exciting. Can’t wait to see what over the top stories they come up with.
