Law & Order: Los Angeles Gets Relaunch Date

law and order los angelesLaw & Order: Los Angeles, the troubled spinoff that went on hiatus and recasting, has a relaunch date. The crime procedural will return Monday, April 11 with a two-hour episode at 9 p.m. (8 Central) before resuming its regular time slot the following week at 10 p.m. (9 Central).

Skeet Ulrich, Regina Hall and Megan Boone exited the drama amid creative changes in mid-January, following Wanda de Jesus’ departure prior to the series premiere in September. Alfred Molina became a full-time regular and Law & Order vet Alana de la Garza joined the cast.

“We are pleased to welcome Law & Order: Los Angeles back to NBC’s regular lineup. Dick Wolf and his team have made some exciting creative changes and we can’t wait to reintroduce the show to audiences,” stated Bob Greenblatt, chairman of NBC entertainment.

So what do you think? Can the show relaunch? Will fans be interested? Personally, I still won’t watch. They needed to get rid of Terrence Howard. His whiny voice grates on my nerves.
