Paul Reiser Sitcom Replaces Perfect Couples

paul reiserNBC is pulling Perfect Couples from its schedule and replacing it with Paul Reiser’s new sitcom, The Paul Reiser Show.

Perfect Couples has had poor ratings on Thursday nights, following Community. I watched a few episodes and honestly can’t believe it ever made it to air. The acting was horrible, the comedy was… well, not there. The only thing it had going for it was that Olivia Munn is attractive. That didn’t even last long because her character was so annoying and her acting so horrible that she became less attractive to me.

In the single-camera comedy from Reiser and Jonathan Shapiro (Life) it’s been a few years since “Paul Reiser” and his TV show left primetime. He now lives with his wife (Amy Landecker) and kids and hangs out with a new group of fellow local dads played by Ben Shenkman, Omid Djalili, Duane Martin, and Andrew Daly.
