Heather Locklear has joined CBS’ The Assistants.

24 star Mary Lynn Rajskub and Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Gossip Girl alum Michelle Trachtenberg, have joined comedy pilots, both at CBS. Rajskub has joined How to be a Gentlemen. Entourage’s Kevin Dillon was also cast in How to be a Gentlemen. Trachtenberg meanwhile has landed the female lead in Peter Knight’s untitled workplace ensemble revolving around the young-adult employees at a high-powered venture capital firm.

Friday Night Lights‘ Connie Britton has snagged the female lead in American Horror Story, FX’s much-buzzed-about drama pilot from Glee bosses Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

Christina Applegate has landed the lead role in an untitled comedy from NBC and Saturday Night Live‘s Lorne Michaels.

There was a lot of talk (none of it good) about the new Wonder Woman costume over the weekend. The more and more I read (and see) about the David E. Kelley Wonder Woman project, the more obvious it is that it is going to fail. Hard.
