GK-tv is sailing to Jamaica with Gale Anne Hurd with Port Royal, an hourlong series set in the late 17th century and chronicling Jamaica’s rise as the “richest and wickedest city” in the new world and as a self-governing safe haven for cutthroat pirates, corrupt politicians and ruthless merchants.

Showtime’s new series The Borgias had the pay TV network’s strongest drama premiere in seven years. The show garnered 1.5 million viewers when you count the premiere and the encore airing.

VH1 has picked up Wrestling Wives, a show about three former WWE Divas and wives of current WWE personalities.

Starz’ Camelot drew 1.1 million viewers for its premiere. That ties Spartacus: Gods of the Arena for ratings for the network.

Smallville‘s Clark Kent is getting closer to becoming the iconic Superman. On the April 22nd episode Clark changes into his alter-ego The Blur, in a phone booth.
