You can add funny man Jim Carrey to the long list of guest stars that will be appearing in the season finale of The Office.
Sources confirm to TVLine that the big-screen comedy megastar is set to appear in the NBC sitcom’s May 19 season-ender.
It is not clear what Carrey’s role will be in the finale. Could he be a candidate for replacing Steve Carell’s Michael Scott? It’s likely that he will be vying for the role, but he’ll be up against some tough competition. Others that could be in the running for the job are Will Arnett, Ray Romano, Catherine Tate, James Spader, and Ricky Gervais.
It’s a good thing the finale will air for 50 minutes instead of the usual 30. With this many guest stars, it would be hard to fit them all in a single episode.
