CBS canceled $#*! My Dad Says, Mad Love, and The Defenders.

CBS ordered Person of Interest, a new drama from J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk that centers on an ex-CIA agent, presumed dead, who teams up with a mysterious billionaire to prevent violent crimes in NYC. It stars Michael Emerson and James Caviezel.

CBS also picked up Two Broke Girls, which is from Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings, and follows two broke 22-year old gals in Brooklyn. It features Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.

ABC has officially ordered Charlies Angels to series. As if there was any doubt there.

Law & Order:SVU star Mariska Hargitay has closed a new deal to return for its upcoming 13th season. She will not stay the entire season. Instead, she will be replaced by, rumor has it, Jennifer Love Hewitt. Christopher Meloni still has no deal for next season.

Treme has been renewed for a 3rd season by HBO.

Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Ringer has been greenlit by CBS, but for the network they co-own, The CW.

NBC has picked up the Chelsea Handler produced Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea, starring Laura Prepon. Handler will also be in the show as Prepon’s sister.
