Kevin Smith to Produce Comic Book Shop Reality Series for AMC

kevin smithFilm director and comic book geek Kevin Smith is producing a reality show that revolves around his New Jersey comic book shop, The Secret Stash.

Now, the show doesn’t sound like a bad idea. There is a fairly large comic book fanbase and Kevin Smith himself has a large following, so I think the show could work. The thing that perplexes me the most is that it will be airing on AMC. It just doesn’t seem to fit AMC’s image. Then again, AMC will be adding two other reality shows to its schedule, so you never know.

This announcement came via Facebook.
