Benedict Cumberbatch and Rebecca Hall to star in WWI series entitled Parade’s End for HBO. The series is based on the 1920s book by Ford Madox Ford. The show is about “a complex and destructive love triangle among a conservative English aristocrat (Cumberbatch), his beautiful but cruel socialite wife (Hall), and a vibrant young suffragette.”
MTV has set the Season 4 premiere date for its biggest hit, Jersey Shore, for Thursday, Aug. 4 at 10/9c. Season 5 has already gotten a green light from the network.
TNT’s legal dramedy Franklin & Bash was off to a slow start in its premiere. The show debuted to 2.75 million viewers.
NBC has decided to revive their infamous gross-out classic, Fear Factor. No word on if Joe Rogan will come back as host. The show is expected to come back in 2012.
