Daily: Black Dynamite, Sons of Anarchy vs Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Eureka and More!

Here’s your Daily for 8/10/2011

The pilot for Cartoon Network’s animated series Black Dynamite (based on the movie of the same name) is online. You can watch it below. The series is expected to air next spring.

American Dreams alum Vanessa Lengies is joining Glee’s Season 3 cast in the recurring role of Sugar, a new student who is described as a cross between Molly Shannon and a New Jersey Housewife.

Sarah Paulson reprises her role as Lynette’s loser sister, Lydia, for one episode in the final season of Desperate Housewives.

SyFy has ordered 1 more episode of the recently canceled Eureka so that fans can have a proper ending.

Courtney Ford (Dexter, True Blood) will appear on an episode of CSI:NY as Nicole, a gorgeous car thief with a very specific set of standards: she only steals autos worth at least a quarter million bucks. She’ll appear in this season’s third episode.

The cable network Lifetime has ordered 10 hourlong episodes of The Client List starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. The series revolves around Sam Horton, a housewife in a conservative Texas town who takes a job at a day spa to make ends meet who quickly realizes that the parlor’s employees are prostitutes servicing prominent members of society. In an effort to keep her home out of foreclosure, she turns to prostitution.

Sons of Anarchy’s Kurt Sutter had some strong things to say about Mad Men’s Matthew Weiner. I pretty much agree with him, especially after hearing that the cast of The Walking Dead is afraid they will be killed off the series by AMC.

Game of Thrones has cast Robert Pugh as Craster, the tenuous ally to the Night’s Watch.

Hawaii Five-0 has cast Autumn Reeser as a love interest for Scott Caan’s Danny. She will play the potentially recurring role of Dr. Akina, the curator of a maritime museum who lends her expertise when a murder investigation takes McGarrett and Danny into the world of sunken treasure.

Producers are saying that Jennifer Lopez will, in fact, be returning to American Idol. In case, you know, you care about crappy TV.

Speaking of Lopez, TBS has canceled Lopez Tonight. I’m sure all 3 of George Lopez’s fans are sad.
