Game of Thrones has cast German actor Tom Wlaschiha as the deadly assassin Jaqen H’gar for season 2. Theon Greyjoy’s sister, Asha, has also been cast. Gemma Whelan will play the part.

Ray Romano has been tapped to guest star in the third season premiere of ABC’s The Middle opposite his former on-screen wife Patricia Heaton.

TLC has picked up a second season of NY Ink.

Alec Baldwin will host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live.

The Playboy Club has cast Troy Garity in the the recurring role of John Bianchi, the “connected” son of Bruno Bianchi, a Chicago crime kingpin who meets an unexpected and grisly fate in the series premiere.

Buffy the Vampire Slater‘s Sarah Hagan has booked a recurring role on 90210. She will play Alana, one of Naomi’s new sorority sisters at California University.

John Corbett is returning to Parenthood as her recovering alcoholic ex Seth for a multi-episode arc.

House producers hired actress-comedian Charlyne Yi to join the show as a series regular. She will play a young doctor.

The Science Channel has set a special, The World of Michael Crichton, to air next year in a project revolving around the best-selling sci-fi author.

Zachary Abel will guest star on two episodes of this new MTV comedy Awkward.

It’s been revealed that Ashton Kutcher’s new character on Two and a Half Men is named Walden Schmidt, and he is an Internet billionaire with a broken heart. The season 9 premiere will be a two-parter [airing] over two weeks” starting Monday, Sept. 19, at 9/8c.
