Jared Gilmore, the child actor who plays Bobby Draper on AMC’s Mad Men, is leaving the show for a regular role on ABC’s Once Upon a Time. He’s not leaving without giving a little bit of advice to whoever replaces him though. In an interview with TV Guide he says, “Be careful around January [Jones]. She’s not as approachable as the others. She’s really serious about what she does. Everyone else is so nice.”
Gilmore isn’t the only one to find Jones to be off-putting. Back in May, comedian and actor Zach Galifianakis had a run in with the actress. He tells TMZ, “It was crazy. I was at a party — I’d never met her — and she was like, ‘Come sit down.’ So I sit at her table and talk for 10 minutes, and she goes, ‘I think it’s time for you to leave now.'”
“So I say, ‘January, you are an actress in a show and everybody’s going to forget about you in a few years, so f*cking be nice,’ and I got up and left. And she thinks that’s funny.'”
In all honesty, none of this surprises me. January Jones is a horrible actress. What you see as Betty Draper on Mad Men is the true January Jones. It is also my opinion that she is the weakest link of the show.
