Warehouse 13 star Eddie McClintock (Pete) is not a fan of the commercials that are aired on SyFy during his program and he’s let it be known on Twitter.
Apparently, during last week’s airing of Warehouse 13, there were advertisements for Cialis, the erectile dysfunction drug. I don’t remember seeing these ads when I watched, but I’m so used to tuning out commercials that they might have aired and I didn’t notice. The commercials apparently returned this week. Below you can read a few of the tweets posted on the social media site by McClintock.
Again, I don’t remember seeing the commercials, but they must have aired. I agree with McClintock and has every right to be upset. Warehouse 13 is a pretty family friendly show and advertising for boner pills should not appear during its airing. In fact, I’d go a step further and say that there shouldn’t be any drug commercials during programming that targets a younger audience. Do we really want our kids growing up thinking they need pills for every feeling (physical and emotional) they have in their life? We’re a nation hooked on drugs, but that’s a post for a different site. I will, however, say I think it’s funny that the Parents Television Council never gets up in arms about drug commercials but if a Victoria’s Secret commercial airs during primetime you’ll never hear the end of it.
