AMC to Air Talking Dead After The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead

If it feels like Chris Hardwick, host of the Nerdist podcast, a new Nerdist show on BBC, and Web Soup, is everywhere these days, it’s because he pretty much is. Add one more project to his already busy schedule. AMC has ordered a talk show hosted by Chris Hardwick to air after The Walking Dead. The show will be entitled Talking Dead.

The live show will serve as a platform for discussion about The Walking Dead. The half-hour series will premiere after the encore presentations of the hourlong drama on Sunday, Oct. 16. Beginning on Friday, Nov. 4, Talking Dead will air following the show’s encores at 11/10c.

Talking Dead will have Hardwick with fans, actors and producers and taking questions and comments from viewers. Hardwick also moderated The Walking Dead panel at Comic-Con this year.

“This half-hour after-show gives fans the opportunity to nerd out about the story in a very public forum: what they like, what they don’t like, or what questions they may have,” Hardwick said in a statement. “Additionally, it will better inform viewers on making intelligent decisions when faced with the zombie apocalypse, which will probably happen sooner or later.”
