BBC America has announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated season 7 of Doctor Who and the good news is it will air the same day in the US as it does in the UK.
The new season begins September 1 at 9/8c. The first part of the season, consisting of 5 episodes, will mark the ending of current companions Amy Pond and Arthur Darvill.
In December we will see the annual Christmas episode before the 8 episode second part of season 7, which premieres in the spring of 2013.
This season features the return of the Daleks and the Weeping Angels, dinosaurs on a spaceship, and a cyborg in the Old West. Overall, it looks to be an exciting season.
